My topic covers apples and their reproductive cycle, as well as the science behind grafting and production of NEW cultivars. I also wanted to look at the folklore surrounding apples, like Johnny Appleseed, to give some domestic perspective on history as we know it. Apples are a fruit known worldwide and from a humble beginning in Kazakhstan, we have cultivated it to every taste.
